Today we celebrated Queens Day in The Netherlands. The whole country turns orange and there are festivities everywhere.
The weather wasn't great but we had fun anyway. We went to the little city Zutphen and visited a small fair where the children got in a cute little Merry-go-round (last photo).
We had a drink at Driekant where they make and sell lovely organic food and drinks (photo 2).
And of course we walked by all the children selling their toys, books, lemonade etc (Vrijmarkt). On the way back home we went to a restaurant (NuNu) to grab a bite. Normally the children don't eat hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles) or anything with sugar but today the restaurant surprised Jade and Leff with a very nice sandwich with hagelslag, strawberries, blueberries and grape (first photo). What a party.
