Assignment 1: Framing an Egg

The first assignment of the photo workshop spring 2010 organized by C&C photography is Framing an Egg.

A little introduction: My name is Jane, I live in Holland and this blog is about the online shop I have. It is a children's shop with sustainable toys, natural clothing and organic body care products.
I always liked making pictures and especially because of the shop I want to be much better at it. Almost a year ago I bought a Nikon D60 (18-200mm) and until a little while ago I didn't use M A S P. So making photos is still very basic as is my English.
Looking forward learning from you all.

The white egg photos are taken in a little photo box and I used an external flash or a small flashlight.
As a color I used the natural color green of the grass and the animals in our garden where very curious about the egg on this unusual spot.
Our own Easter bunny is very used to eggs, because one of our chickens lays her eggs in his house every day.

Looking forward to your eggs and feedback on my photos.

  27. Jane, what a lovely job you did-- this is all so beautiful. The little chick on the egg is too cute, and your pretty green grid is very imaginative. The sharply focused bunny, lovely green grass, and fabulous backdrop of trees are beautifully executed in the last image. That would make a nice greeting card. Lovely animals!
