The sweet dwarf lay beside the little flower fairy and the mother covered them with a blanket. The fairy dreamed about the flowers and in her dream all the colors blended to the one perfect color, the shapes blended to the most perfect shape and the smells blended to the most perfect smell.
And when she woke up….she could not believe what had happened.
All the flowers were turned in to the most perfect roses so miraculously beautiful.
They never wilted and were admired by anyone who saw them. From that day on the little fairy who loved flowers so much was called The Rose Fairy.
And if you are wondering what happened to the funny family, they lived happily ever after.
Every year in the beginning of summer Miss Neat told her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
this little fairytale. She even made a Rose Fairy doll to cuddle with the children as the story was told.
Dear Jane,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can only sigh when I read and see what you share with us here.
The little Rose Fairy I made as a giveaway is just a little gift compared to the wonderful gift you made us by showing these pictures and writing these lines.
Your posts about these moments shared with your children and seven wild flowers are so very lovely, heartwarming and special.
Thank you so much for that!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenJane I have been reading your fairytale after seeing your comments on Juliane's blog. It is just beautiful.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI plan to take my girls out this week - on hopefully a sunny day to collect our flowers. It is very challenging for us as it is midwinter here in South Australia. I am sure we will find something - however there are no roses. Yours are just beautiful.
Greetings on a grey cloud with only just a burst of sunshine to carry to you.
Cee
